On April 9, 2021, the 47th biweekly consultation symposium of the 13th CPPCC National Committee was held in Beijing. Wang Yang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, presided over the meeting.
